Solar-in-Schools Program
The National Solar in Schools Program is a newly launched federal initiative to assist schools in providing significant resources towards the purchase of solar energy systems. The systems are used both for practical purposes, that of producing clean solar energy for the school and also as an educational tool. There is also a state based solar in schools grant which operates independently of the federal system. Schools are also able to access this in conjunction with the federal grant to further enhance their schools production capacity. With several grants available to schools and more proposed it is critical that the right advice is obtained in the early stages of planning in order to create an integrated system and maximise value.
Solargain is emerging as the company of choice for WA schools wishing to utilise the Solar in Schools grants. Key elements in attaining this position has been a commitment to service and follow-up, a demonstrated knowledge of sound industry practises and regulatory environments as well as ensuring an on time / on-budget deployment. Using quality brands and providing superior service our goal is to ensure a positive ongoing relationship with each school, that will in turn, make our company the brand of choice to assist students, parents and staff with their future needs as we strive toward a more sustainable energy future.

Our way is to take a consultative approach that includes all stakeholders. As a part of the sales process and system deployment Solargain is in contact with the staff and students of the school, industry groups such as WAPPA www.wappa.asn.au (for whom we are a preferred supplier) and Government Departments such as DHW & DET. This engagement has seen Solargain become the first solar business in WA to assist a school with their National Solar School deployment. See information the below from Albany Primary School.
