The ACT Government Sustainable Household Scheme allows ACT homeowners to gain access to interest free loans for renewable energy systems (not limited to solar energy but extending across a variety of products) from $2,000 all the way up to $15,000 and can be spread across multiple purchases of renewable energy products to outfit your home with everything you might need.
These loans are interest free unless the $15,000 amount is exceeded (in which case that amount exceeding $15,000 is a separate loan operating under normal interest guidelines) and can be paid off at a leisurely pace over 10 years.
