Fronius: Residential solutions
The new Fronius inverter generation, SnapINverters, feature a flexible system design, simple installation and integrated data communication features. These inverters fit perfectly for each and every application and can therefore be used in every PV system.
Optimisation of self-consumption
With its low power categories and single-phase design, the Fronius Galvo makes it possible to achieve a high self-consumption component. The integral energy management relay and the S0 input can be used to control a consumer, thereby further increasing self-consumption levels, limiting how much must be redirected to the grid.
SnapINverter mounting system
The SnapINverter mounting system makes inverter installation & servicing very straightforward. After fitting the wall bracket and cabling for the device, the inverter is placed into the wall bracket and is swivelled into position and secured.
Advanced Grid Features for a stable grid
The Advanced Grid Features (AGF) incorporate a range of functions that support reliable grid operations. These functions go a long way in preventing grid faults and unexpected failures that lead to yield losses. In line with new guidelines for energy fed into the grid, these features can be activated at any time.

Fronius – Innovative features meet legendary reliability
Günter Fronius first opened Fronius’s doors in Austria back in 1941, where they manufactured welding equipment, chargers and transformers and continued to pioneer welding equipment for many years. In 1981, they made a shift and created inverter technology so advanced that it led to key breakthroughs in the field. In the mid-90s, they began using this inverter technology for solar applications, winning an Austrian innovation prize for their Sunrise solar inverter in 1997.
Today, they have a line-up of inverters that contain all the latest features such as wi-fi, energy management and a snap-in design which makes them safer and easier to install and maintain. Importantly though, their inverters still come with Fronius’ legendary reliability that they have been famous for since 1941.
