Eltech (ISO-MAX) DC Isolator Switch Recall

A national product safety recall has been issued on four models of ISO-MAX DC isolator switches which were distributed by a company called Eltech Industries. Some of these DC isolator switches have been found to be fire hazards. If one of the recalled ISO-MAX DC isolator switches is installed in your solar power system, please contact Solargain to arrange for your potentially faulty switch to be replaced.

What are the defects?

Some switches have a defective mechanism and others may overheat at currents greater than 12A. Please read the attached bulletin for further details.
