Fully qualified plumbers & gasfitters are required for solar hot water, gas hot water & electric hot water installations and repairs. Must be a minimum 2 man team with own vehicle, tools, working at heights tickets, white cards, fully insured & WHS compliant.

About the Role
Based in our head office in Malaga the main purpose of this role is to assist the IT department with Desktop & Server support to internal staff located locally and interstate and work on IT projects as required.

Duties
• Provide helpdesk support to staff both local and remote users via Telephone, Email and In-person.
• Installing, moving and setting up user’s IT equipment (Desktops & Mobile Devices).
• Purchase hardware and software with guidance from the IT Manager.
• Intranet document management.
• Conducting routine PC maintenance.
• Carrying out audits of IT equipment.
• Configuring hardware for staff.
• Setup and maintenance of users on an Active Directory / Exchange Environment.
• Assisting with the administration of Windows / Linux servers.
• Work on IT projects as directed.

Skills & Experience
• Good knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems is essential.
• Sound Microsoft Office (excel,word etc) skills essential.
• Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange administration.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email ,TCP/IP & VPN.
• Skills in PC repair, troubleshooting and deployment.
• Experience with Linux is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL server is preferred.
• Experience within IT Helpdesk .
• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Diploma/Certificate in IT (Preferred).

Solargain is offering an opportunity for an enthusiastic, fully accredited electrician looking to utilise their industry expertise and installation skills to conduct Solar PV installation and servicing as a full-time technician based in the northern suburbs of Perth.

Duties:

  • Installation of solar PV systems for residential and commercial projects.
  • Upgrading pre-existing solar PV systems.
  • Audits on solar PV systems and compliance analysis.
  • Fault finding/diagnosis of solar PV system issues and problem solving.
  • Maintenance of solar PV systems and completing maintenance reports.
  • Scheduling and undertaking customer site visits.
  • Completion of job files and compliance documentation.
  • Undertaking site inspections.
  • Liaising with internal parties regarding warranty replacement stock.

Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience.
