About the Role

Centrally located near the heart of the city in Port Melbourne, you will be working directly with our Melbourne Operations Manager and tasked with ensuring the day to day requirements of the warehouse are met.

Key responsibilities include: organising stock for our electrical installation teams and plumbers; optimising warehouse performance; and receiving and dispatch of goods for our national branches.

Warehousing experience is desirable but not essential for this physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing of orders
  • Receiving and dispatching of goods
  • Operating a forklift
  • Ensuring jobs are ready for daily workloads
  • Stock take and stock control
  • General warehouse duties - optimising and organising our warehouse
  • Following Workplace Health & Safety practices

Personal attributes

  • Able to perform casual hours, starting at 6am weekdays
  • Self-motivated and committed
  • Enthusiastic about accepting challenges and taking on new responsibilities
  • Strong organisation skills are essential

Requirements

  • Forklift License and First Aid (preferred, but not essential)
  • Successful applicants will hold a current police clearance or be able to provide one within one month of commencing employment.

Solargain is offering an opportunity for an enthusiastic, CEC accredited electrician looking to utilise their industry expertise and installation skills to conduct Solar PV installation in Perth.

Key responsibilities for this full-time position include:

  • Installation of solar PV systems for residential and commercial projects.
  • Upgrading pre-existing solar PV systems.
  • Audits on solar PV systems and compliance analysis.
  • Fault finding/diagnosis of solar PV system issues and problem solving.
  • Maintenance of solar PV systems and completing maintenance reports.
  • Scheduling and undertaking customer site visits.
  • Review job files and compliance documentation.
  • Undertaking site inspections.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience.
  • Firm understanding of and experience in latest compliance requirements and practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various inverter configurations and setup.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of solar module configuration and array design. 
  • Ability to work around complex designs and offer configuration solutions when required.
  • A positive and "can do" attitude.
  • Great telephone manner and enjoy helping customers.
  • Neat presentation and customer-focused.
  • Excellent time management, reporting and computing skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

The successful candidate with require the following licences:

  • A Grade Electrician Licence.
  • CEC Install and Design Accreditation.
  • White Card.
  • Working at Heights Certificate.
  • Drivers Licence.
