Below we outline the various installation and other solar energy related procedures as they apply to each state or region.

Western Australia

Network (Synergy & Western Power) approved before installation.

Western Power will do the meter change. System is working immediately after installation. Once meter is changed/updated, any unused energy will be exported to the grid. (Valid if this is first time you are having Solar System installed on this property. Meter change would have been done already).

Once the system is installed and the installers have connected your inverter online, our Monitoring department will receive the job pack to start the monitoring setup. Once the monitoring setup is completed and we have verified your account details on our system, we will give account access to the registered email address. Please note this may require you to register your email address with your inverter's monitoring platform. The whole process can take up to 10 business days. Some systems which have panel level monitoring may take longer to set up.

 

Queensland

Network (Energex) approved before installation.

After installation, we will email you the Electrical Work Request (EWR) within 2-4 business days. Please contact your retailer with the EWR for meter change. Once meter is changed, turn on your system by following the instructions in switchboard (Valid if this is first time you are having Solar System installed on this property. Meter change would have been done already).

Once the system is installed and the installers have connected your inverter online, our Monitoring department will receive the job pack to start the monitoring setup. Once the monitoring setup is completed and we have verified your account details on our system, we will give account access to the registered email address. Please note this may require you to register your email address with your inverter's monitoring platform. The whole process can take up to 10 business days. Some systems which have panel level monitoring may take longer to set up.

 

Victoria

Once the system is installed and the installers have connected your inverter online, our Monitoring department will receive the job pack to start the monitoring setup. New South Wales

Network approval completed before installation.

Inspection carried out by an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) electrician.

ASP electrician will install the meter, complete the Notification of Service Work Form (NOSW) & Certificate of Compliance, which will be submitted to your distributor (Valid if this is first time you are having Solar System installed on this property. Meter change would have been done already).

Once the system is installed and the installers have connected your inverter online, our Monitoring department will receive the job pack to start the monitoring setup. Once the monitoring setup is completed and we have verified your account details on our system, we will give account access to the registered email address. Australian Capital Territory

Network approval completed before installation. ACT Planning and Land Authority notified that electrical work will be undertaken.

We will request your Electricity Distributor do an inspection.

Once inspection is deemed compliant, we will work with your distributor to arrange a time to install or replace the meter (this will be completed onsite by both distributor and installer). The system will then be commissioned and your distributor will inform your energy retailer of completion (Valid if this is first time you are having Solar System installed on this property. Meter change would have been done already).
