Solar Power Wangaratta has a new home, with the official opening of the Solargain Wangaratta network distribution centre.
Aside from servicing the needs of locals from Wangaratta seeking solar power, the new distribution centre will help support solar power demand from rural residents in Benalla, Shepparton, Beechworth, Myrtleford and other surrounding regions.
‘The opening of the new Wangaratta network distribution centre is a really exciting step forward for us’ said Solargain Victoria State Manager, Mano Stephan.
‘Solargain is a nationally trusted and recognised solar energy product supplier. The opening of this new location will allow us to offer faster support to our growing network of rural Victorian customers’ he said.
Even despite a tumultuous year for solar power (and the entire renewable energy industry), with questions about the Abbott Government’s support of sustainable energy constantly being raised – demand has not waned.
In fact, a recent study has shown that nine out of 10 Australians have considered, or would consider, switching to solar power. Inland Victoria, including Wangaratta, is no exception to the rule, and with a generally sunnier climate compared to coastal locations, it’s an ideal place for residential and commercial solar power.
However, like any major investment, choosing solar power involves careful research and planning. Whilst there’s no shortage of solar power suppliers in Victoria, not all have been created equally, as pointed out by Mr Stephan:
‘There are plenty of solar power suppliers who disappear as quickly as they pop-up, leaving customers stranded with sub-standard and sometimes even dangerous equipment. It’s important to choose a company with a long-standing history and one that invests back into its products and people…’
Solargain’s new Wangaratta network distribution centre is located at 1-3, 23-49 Parfitt Road, Wangaratta.
