SMS Alert: Important Information


We have been made aware of a SMS message circulating, which misleadingly uses words and imagery to appear as the official wait list for the WA battery rebate. 

Please be advised this is not a legitimate form - we advise you not to enter any information. We assure you that your data with Solargain is secure. 

The matter has been reported to the relevant authorities.

What to do if you receive a message 


If you receive a SMS message, please follow these steps:   
1.    Do not respond to the message or click any links.   
2.    Forward the message to our official email address: sg.info@solargain.com.au.   
3.    You may also report the message to your mobile carrier.   
4.    Delete the message from your device.

 

What to do if you clicked the link


If you received the SMS message and followed the link, please be reassured of the following:   
1.    Quotes and Order: Any quotes and orders you have received from Solargain will remain unaffected.    
2.    Caution with other companies: Be wary of unsolicited or unexpected contact from other Solar companies. If unsure about any communication, please forward it to us at sg.info@solargain.com.au so that we can investigate and verify.   
3.    Rebate application. Your ability to apply for the WA Battery Rebate has not been impacted. The WA Battery Rebate Scheme has not officially opened, and you will receive more information in due course. If you are unsure about the information regarding the Rebate, you can access information on the official WA Government website https://www.wa.gov.au/government/wa-residential-battery-scheme-information-applicants   

We take these matters seriously and are working closely with the relevant authorities. Updates will be provided as they become available. In the meantime, please exercise caution and do not respond to or engage with the suspicious message.
