• Referral: The act of submitting a prospective customer’s details to Solargain.
  • Referrer: An existing Solargain residential customer, who has had a Solar PV or Solar HWS supplied and installed by Solargain, who submits a sales prospect to Solargain.
  • Friend: The new prospect whose details are submitted by the referrer.
  • The program: Solargain Customer Referral Program 2021.



  1. This offer is available in Solargain PV PL. locations in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Canberra and Busselton.
  2. By participating in the program, you are stating that the named friend provided by you is eligible for this program and that you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the program.
  3. There is no limit per person on the accumulated amount of monetary rewards received by any one participant from referrals submitted through the program.
  4. Referrers may submit as many referrals as they choose as long as the friend meets the eligibility criteria as stated herein.
  5. Only if the friend successfully converts by installing and paying in full for an eligible solar PV or solar hot water system with Solargain will the referral reward be forwarded to the referrer.
  6. Eligible solar PV systems are defined as being complete, installed grid-connected systems sized 2 kW and above.
  7. Eligible solar hot water systems are defined as complete, installed solar hot water systems where total invoiced value is $2,390 or above.
  8. Solargain PV Pty Ltd employees not eligible.
  9. The program only applies to the system configurations listed in points 6 and 7 above and cannot be combined with any other company special programs or benefits.
  10. The reward for a successful referral from the 1st September onwards is a $200 Prezzee eGift Card. The Prezzee eGift Card will be emailed out to the address provided on the quote.
  11. From 1st September, 2021 any recommendations during this time that resulted in a completed and paid Solargain installation will receive a $200 Prezzee eGift Card (normally $100). Any recommendations before this time and after the offer end date determined by Solargain will not be eligible.
  12. The referral reward will be processed and sent via email by the end of the month following the latter of (i) the installation date or (ii) date the invoice is paid in full. Solargain will not be responsible for invalid or incorrect email addresses. 
  13. In order to be considered an eligible referral, the friend must not have contacted Solargain of their own volition within the last 30 days.
  14. In order to be considered an eligible referral, another referrer must not have already referred the friend.
  15. In the case where multiple referrers refer the same friend, the reward will be paid to the first referrer. The date stamped email confirmation will be used to determined which referral has primacy.
  16. You can only become an eligible referrer under the program once you’ve had a completed installation and paid for your installation in full.
  17. Referrals are invalid where the referrer and the friend are the same person or reside at the same residential address.
  18. It is the responsibility of the referrer to ensure that the friend is eligible under the conditions of this document.
  19. Once the referral is made, Solargain will make contact with the friend as soon as is reasonably possible. Contact will be made by email and/or phone as provided by the referrer. In the case where the referee has provided an incorrect email or the company is not able to contact the registered referee by email address, the company reserves the right to disqualify the reward after a 30-day period.
  20. The referrer can only receive the rewards based on installations at the residential address stated in the online form submission.
  21. This program supersedes any previous terms and conditions.
  22. By accepting our terms and conditions, you represent that you have the authority to disclose the name of the person or business (friend) who is referred to us. Without this authority you acknowledge that you are ineligible to participate in the program.
  23. Solargain will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (included, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with redeeming the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  24. The terms and conditions of this program are subject to change at any time without notice. This program may be terminated at Solargain’s discretion.
  25. By participating in the program, you agree and consent to Solargain using and disclosing your personal information for the purposes of the program and any other matter connected to or incidental to the program; and using your details for internal use or marketing purposes at Solargain’s sole discretion.
  26. If, for any reason, the program is not able to be run as planned, including computer virus, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, vandalism, power failures, natural disasters or any other cause beyond the control of Solargain, which affects the administration, security and integrity of this program, then Solargain reserves the right to cancel, modify or postpone the promotion.
  27. This program is intended for residential clients of Solargain to refer new residential clients for the provision of Solargain’s products and services. Any practices which deviate from the spirit of this program will be deemed ineligible for reward at Solargain’s discretion. Such practices include, but are not limited to, third-party lead brokering entities (or similar) utilising the program for referring clients to Solargain which do not have a bona fide referral connection with an existing Solargain client. This Program, including the distribution of eGift Cards, is managed by Solargain PV PL as the promoter and is in no way endorsed or supported by Prezzee.
