How to pick out quality solar from the pack

With solar only getting better and better, there’s never been a better time to go solar. But with so many providers out there, saying they’re the very best, it can be hard to know which way to go.

That’s why we’re not going to tell you we’re the best, instead, we’re going to tell you what makes us different, you can decide for yourself if that makes us the solar provider you want to go solar with. Whichever solar company you explore, you should ensure they have points similar to these, to back up their claims of quality.

The experience gained from installing solar for 25+ years

Solar companies come and go with saddening regularity, there’s a reason the industry has been called the solar coaster, but Solargain has stood the test of time.

In the 25+ years, we’ve seen every trial and tribulation that the solar industry has gone through on the solar coaster, and we’ve come out the other side standing tall. We’ve learned our lessons, and grown stronger from each of those trials, and apply that experience to every project we work on.

Over 65,000+ solar installs

Across Australia, we have worked on homes, businesses and units of each and every size, type, and layout. Our wealth of experience gives us the ability to design a system that is right for your home and your needs.

Australian owned and operated

Too many companies out there do not have the support capacity, nor the foresight to properly support Australian customers. We are a home-grown Australian company, born in Perth. This means we design our systems with the unique challenges posed by the harsh Australian climate.

We have locations all across Australia.

Clean Energy Council Certified

At Solargain, we are proudly Clean Energy Council certified, meaning we are an Approved Solar Retailer using certified installers. This can be taken as a clear sign of quality and is something you should always look for when comparing solar companies.

First Solar Company with ISO9001 Quality Practices Accreditation

An ISO 9001 accreditation is awarded to a company who has put in place effective quality management systems, ensuring they deliver quality products and services, continually improve their products and systems, and meet all relevant regulatory obligations. At Solargain, we’re proud to say we were the first solar company to hold an ISO9001 accreditation, and have kept it ever since.

Exclusive Solar Partner of QANTAS Frequent Flyer Program

With every solar PV system we install, the proud new owner also receives up to 15,000 bonus Qantas Frequent Flyer Points. That’s right, we are the only solar provider who offers Qantas points, letting you take to the skies, while the sun powers up your home.

For more information on our Qantas Frequent Flyer Point program, please read on here.

No deposit installations

Solargain never takes any deposits for residential Solar installations. We are so confident in our quality products we feel no need to lock you in, we only take payment after your solar PV system has been successfully installed in your home.

Not only that, but we also offer a range of solar finance and payment options, to make solar easier to get for your home.

Commitment to service

Solargain has the largest after-sales service Department in Australia. This growth has been partly attributed to the fact that 80% of our service and warranty work is for non-Solargain installations, who’s original installer did not survive the solar coaster. Unfortunately, plenty of ‘cowboy companies’ claim to be the cheaper option, but their inability to service their customer warranties over the lifespan of the system end up costing you much more in the long run. Read more about this here.

Whether or not your system came from us, when it comes to solar servicing we’re here to help.

All the manufacturers are fortune 500 companies and have to have an Australian customer service department

We only work alongside manufacturers that have a solid support network in Australia. All the brands we work alongside are well established, in and outside of Australia, and have had their quality products proven by happy customers worldwide.

Whether or not you decide to work alongside us when you go solar, you should keep points like these in mind. Compare the solar companies that are out there, and take the time to ensure they have the quality to back up their claims. If you would like to get started with us, however, this is the best place to begin.
